Our group arrived in Saigon on the 20th of July to do our company's mid-year review and planning. We've decided to finish our business trip a day earlier so that we can explore and enjoy Saigon. Since we haven't booked a tour on any travel agency, we tried to do it by ourselves and found it hard and difficult. We were frustrated and tired on our 1st try in the morning of July 22. But, a message on my Viber came up at around 2PM from someone who introduced himself as Mr. Duke of VAC Vietnam Travel proposing a group tour. And the rest, as they say, was history.
Mr. Duke is responsive, answered all of our queries, and submitted a proposal for a customized group tour for a day and half in a short period of time. In 20 minutes or less, we closed the deal thru online messages. At exactly 2:30PM his tour guide named Mr Triá»u arrived at our hotel lobby. Even if the tour was short noticed, they still managed to bring us into the President's Palace without a van. The 1st half-day of our tour was amazing as we learned a lot of things about Vietnam's rich culture and history as we visited the war museum, post office and cathedral. The 2nd day was a perfect day for us as it was our last day in Vietnam and we wanted to end it in a good and positive note. Visiting Mekong Delta did not frustrate us as we experienced a lot of happy moments - from riding a boat, listening to local music, eating local food and learning local culture. This trip was made even more memorable because of our Guide, Mr Triá»u, as he was very knowledgable of the place and made sure that we enjoyed every moment of our visit. He was very helpful and made sure everything was covered and everything was in order. Overall, this trip has been amazing and full of learning even if it was just for a short period of time probably because of the people who helped us to make this trip a memorable one. To you Mr. Duke, our Guide, Mr Triá»u and to our driver, our hats off and kudos to you guys!
