Early this evening at 18:00 (6:00 PM), reconvene with your guide for a specially designed local foodie walk and cultural tour. You'll transfer to Le Van Tam Park to begin your culinary walking tour of Saigon.
First, stop at a public park where locals congregate to socialize and dance in the evenings. goi Du Du (papaya salad with beef) as you watch the goings-on and feel free to join in if you wish! Then walk to a renowned local restaurant tucked away in a nondescript alleyway to try their famous Banh Xeo (rice pancakes filled with vegetables, shrimp and pork). Next, stop at a purveyor near Tan Dinh Market who serves up delicious Chinese-inspired soups. Nearby, another vendor makes incredible com Suon Non-Nuong (seasoned pork ribs and rice), a specialty of Saigon. If you have room, indulge in a delicious dessert and a Vietnamese coffee to round out your meal.
End the evening at a local cafe with live music before returning to your hotel for the night at about 09.00 pm.
