Especially, on Vietnamese National Day 20/09 or on his birthday 19/05, dozens of thousands people come to visit. WHEN TO VISIT HO CHI MINH MAUSOLEUM?
The whole complex is open every day from 7.30 to 17.00 but the mausoleum is opened in the morning only, from 7.30 to 11.00. It will be closed in the afternoon. If travelers who take Hanoi City Tour would like to visit, should arrange time in the morning. If come in the afternoon, still can visit but from outside only, cannot walk inside to see Ho Chi Minh President Body is preserved. In the afternoon, travelers who join city tours in Hanoi still can visit President Palace, House 54 and House on Stilt. The Mausoleum will be closed on Monday and Friday. The whole complex will be closed for maintenance in two month time, normally will be in October and November every year.
ANY ENTRANCE FEE TO PAY?
If travelers who join Hanoi City Tour visit just the mausoleum, there will be no entrance fee to pay. If travelers who join city tour in Hanoi would like to go inside President Palace, House on Stilt, House 54 then need to pay 40.000 vnd which is less than 2 usd.
WHAT ELSE TO SEE AROUND THE COMPLEX?
There are a few other places to visit in Hanoi while travelers have come to this area. Thang Long Citadel is one of the interesting place to visit in Hanoi. Just behind National Assembly Building.
